Un des classiques exercices imposés de la littérature échiquéenne : 50 parties de grands maîtres (censément exemplaires) groupées par thème et commentées pour le joueur moyen avec en fin de partie résumé des leçons essentielles à retenir (interro écrite la semaine prochaine). Rien de bien neuf donc, mais au moins cet exercice un peu scolaire bénéficie-t-il ici des textes toniques de Steve Giddins (on se souvient de ses 101 Chess Opening Traps et How to Build your Chess Opening Repertoire) qui le rendent bien plus plaisant que certains de ses devanciers...
