La maladie de Tal et les performances décevantes de Fischer décapitèrent demblée un tournoi que le comportement incompréhensible des trois leaders soviétiques (arrangement sans doute mais pourquoi, et surtout pourquoi jusquau bout ?) acheva. Reste que le meilleur lemporta tout de même, et quil y eut quelques bien belles parties, que Jan Timman, à défaut de nous apporter de nouvelles lumières sur laffaire, nous fait revivre ici avec son talent coutumier.
