Siliconen schaakstukken en schaakbord. Het schaakbord is beschikbaar in bruin of groen. De voordelen van Silicone zijn dat de stukken onverwoestbaar zijn (tenzij je ze in het vuur gooit...) en dat het schaakbord altijd zijn perfecte vorm behoudt, zelfs als het van tevoren is gevouwen of opgerold. Deze set is bijzonder geschikt voor kinderen. De afmetingen zijn zoals in clubs: 55 mm vierkant voor het schaakbord en 95 mm hoog voor de koning.

Zelfde stukken als ervoor, buiten de bruine stukken die zwart vervangen.

Op deze speciale schaakborden staan de zwarte velden hoger dan de witte velden zodat een blinde schaker het verschil tussen de velden duidelijk kan voelen.

De zwarte schaakstukken zijn ook aangepast. Deze hebben namelijk een ijzeren pinnetje op hun kop zodat de blinde schaker de zwarte stukken gemakkelijker kan herkennen. De witte schaakstukken krijgen uiteraard geen ijzeren pinnetje op hun kop zodat de schaker het verschil gemakkelijk kan herkennen.

Het bord en de stukken hebben een pen-en-gat constructie om ervoor te zorgen dat de stukken niet omvallen wanneer de schaker deze betast.

Cette série porte un titre légèrement trompeur : si le premier tome s'adresse effectivement à de complets ou presque complets débutants, les volumes suivants montent assez rapidement en puissance, le quatrième s'adressant à des joueurs autour de 5 kyu, voire un peu plus. Quoi qu'il en soit, il s'agit là d'une série remarquable, dont l'étude rendra de grands services à tout débutant motivé.
