Halma is een bordspel. Het kan worden gespeeld door 2 - 6 deelnemers. Het doel van het spel is om alle pionnen uit je eigen gebied zo snel mogelijk naar de overkant van het bord te krijgen. Om de beurt wordt er gezet, waarbij een pion hetzij een zet in een richting kan doen, hetzij kan springen over een eigen of vijandelijke pion. Als een pion gesprongen heeft, mag deze in dezelfde beurt nog meer sprongen maken, in dezelfde of een andere richting, elke sprong moet echter over precies 1 pion gaan. Dit springen heeft geen effect op de pionnen waarover gesprongen wordt, maar kan er wel zorg voor dragen dat een pion zich in een beurt zeer ver kan verplaatsen.

Vous ne choisissez pas la pièce que vous allez jouer, c'est votre adversaire qui vous la remet.
