Een van de spelers is de spelmeester en moet een grappige tekening beschrijven aan de andere spelers door zo veel mogelijk details te geven. 

De andere spelers tekenen het beschreven tafereel. Wanneer de zandloper leeg is worden de tekeningen tussen de spelers uitgewisseld en en is het tijd voor de verbetering. Op de kaart van de spelmeester staan een aantal voorwaardes, en elke voorwaardes waaraan de tekening zich houdt geeft een extra overwinningspunt aan de tekenaar.
